Jessica is a Registered Social Worker who holds an MSW from Wilfred Laurier University. Her placements were completed in the University of Guelph’s Counselling Services and at Ray of Hope’s Community Addiction Treatment Program. For over 10 years, she has had the privilege to work in and support people in various social service agencies including youth shelters, fostercare, and drop-in centres.
She uses an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Over the years, she’s strived to work with clients from a relational, trauma-informed, and strengths based approach. Jessica’s aim is to bring compassion and non-judgement into the therapy room while working collaboratively with you to help you achieve your goals. She believes that people are the experts in their own lives and works to help people develop insight and strategies for meaningful change.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
